Steve Dannaway (JR, Honolulu, HI [pictured-left]) earned First Team All-SCIAC honors and Andrew Blomberg (SR, Honolulu, HI [pictured-center]) and Max Rose (JR, Shell Beach [pictured-right]) earned Second Team All-SCIAC honors for 2009.
Dannaway, who earned First Team honors at third base, led the Stags with a .481 batting average during SCIAC play. He also had team-high 26 runs scored to go along with six doubles, five home runs and 21 RBI's. Blomberg, an All-SCIAC infield selection (at first base), hit .407 with 17 runs, six doubles, two home runs and 20 RBI's. Rose, an All-SCIAC outfield selection, hit .361 with 15 runs and four doubles and had team-highs with seven home runs and 29 RBI's.
This was the fourth straight All-SCIAC team for Blomberg. He was a First Team selection in 2006 and 2008 and a Second Team selection in 2007. Dannaway and Rose earned All-SCIAC honors for the first time.
