Stags Baseball Featured Player: Tim Ednoff

Tim Ednoff (SR, Aliso Viejo) has provided a ton of offensive firepower for the Stags recently. Entering this past weekend Ednoff had not been retired in 14 consecutive at bats, recording ten hits and four walks. The senior captain was 10-12 with two doubles and two stolen bases in four games last weekend.  In a 9-4 victory over University of Puget Sound on March 15, Ednoff picked up five hits in as many at bats. Ednoff's performance earned him a spot on the All-Tournament team for the California Classic.

At the start of this weekend, Ednoff was hitting .324 on the season with three doubles and five runs batted in. Ednoff, who had 17 stolen bases last season, has maintained his dominance of the base paths this season, swiping 11 bags in 13 attempts. After occupying the leadoff spot last year and at the start of this season, Ednoff has moved around the lineup, but now is at home in the two hole. Ednoff, who switched from second base to outfield part way through last season, has become an excellent left fielder for the Stags. A three year starter for CMS, he looks to provide leadership and strong performance down the stretch for the Stags.
