Sean Tracey enters his fourth season as pitching coach for the Stags. He is a product of Upland High School, Citrus College and UC Irvine. Tracey was a two sport athlete in college playing quarterback with his brother Ryan at Citrus. Sean is also a veteran of collegiate summer ball playing for the Santa Barbara Foresters in 2000 and 2001. Sean also returned to the Santa Barbara Foresters as their pitching coach in 2013.

He was drafted in the eighth round (240th overall) by the Chicago White Sox in 2002. Tracey reached the big leagues June 8, 2006 appearing in seven games all in relief. He was claimed off waivers in 2007 by the Baltimore Orioles and missed the 2008 season due to surgery. He was picked up by the LA Angels in March of 2009, but his injury would prevent him from taking the mound.
