Augustino Adams is entering his 1st season at CMS as the Running Backs Coach. Prior to CMS, Augustino coached at the University of Charleston in West Virginia as the Wide Receivers and Sprint Coach for their Men’s & Women’s Track & Field teams from 2005-2008. Adams also attended the University of Charleston, graduating with a Masters in Business Administration in 2007. He was a part of the biggest turn around in WVIAC history during his final season as a colligate athlete, collecting honors as a Team Captain and received honorable-mention All-Conference at the wide receiver position.
In 2011, Adams received a second Masters in Sports Administration from Ohio University, where he was a Graduate Assistant with the Bobcats in the Office of Multicultural Student Access and Retention. There, he worked as Academic Advisor with minority athletes for both the football and basketball programs.
Since the completion of his Masters program, Adams moved back to his home state of California and has been coaching youth sports (ages 6-18) as an Assistant Director and a Personal Trainer at the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Monica. Adams also has coached for numerous Offense-Defense football camps during the summer months, throughout California since 2004.
Adams graduated from Santa Monica High School here in 1999. Adams participated in football, basketball and track and field for the Vikings. Outside of being a total sports fanatic, Adams enjoys working out, snowboarding, deep sea fishing, roller coasters and double doubles animal style.
