Chris Vicory is entering his first season as the Special Teams Coordinator and Offensive Line coach for CMS.

Prior to moving to CMS, Coach Vicory was the Head Football Coach and Offensive Coordinator at College of the Redwoods in Eureka California.  During this past season, coach Vicory lead a Corsair offense that broke 16 school offensive records and led Northern California in passing yardage.

Prior to moving to College of the Redwoods, Vicory was the Offensive Coordinator at Mendocino College in Ukiah California.  Coach Vicory’s no-huddle spread offense lead the Bay Valley Conference in passing yards and passing touchdowns.

In 2009, coach Vicory began his coaching career at Humboldt State University as the Tight Ends and Running Backs coach.  In 2011, he was promoted to Offensive Line coach and HSU won a Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championship.  Coach Vicory’s offensive line accomplished several impressive feats during the 2011 season including paving the way for Humboldt State’s all-time leading rusher and passer.  The offensive line did not give up a sack in five consecutive games, the only team in Div. II, as well as Div. I FBS and FCS, to do so.

Coach Vicory was a three-sport athlete (football, wrestling and track and field) at Rio Linda High School in Sacramento.  He spent the next two years at American River College before transferring to Humboldt State in 2007.  As a center, Vicory helped American River to a Mid-Empire Conference championship his freshman year.  At HSU coach Vicory played offensive line for two years, before graduating in 2009 with a degree in Recreation Administration and Planning.

Coach Vicory resides in Claremont, CA.
