During his 15 seasons as head coach, Scalmanini has led CMS to six SCIAC titles, including four-straight from 2009-12.

    Comeback Falls Short As Redlands Tops CMS For SCIAC Tourney Championship The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men’s basketball team nearly pulled off a second half comeback for the second-straight night in the SCIAC Postseason Tournament. Instead, the University of Redlands held on for a 73-64 win over CMS on Saturday, Feb. 23 at Currier Gymnasium to win the SCIAC Postseason Tournament championship and advance to the NCAA Division III Championships which begin next week.

On Saturday night, the five-minute lapse not only cost CMS the game, it also cost the team a chance to win the SCIAC Co-Championship as Redlands pulled away for a 76-64 win at Ducey Gymnasium in the SCIAC regular season finale for both teams.
