Kevin Sullivan talks about his four years as a Division III student-athlete on the CMS men's basketball team.

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's basketball player Kevin Sullivan is the second CMS student-athlete to be featured in a three-part video series which celebrates the second annual NCAA Division III Week. The week of April 8-14 has been designated Division III week and is aimed at celebrating what Division III athletic programs such as Claremont-Mudd-Scripps have to offer student-athletes in the classroom, in the field of play and in the community and what each school's student-athletes have accomplished in those disciplines.
Sullivan is a four-year member of the men's basketball team and during the 2012-13 season, he started all 25 games and averaged 9.5 points, 3.7 rebounds was second on the team in three-point field goals made per game on a team that finished 18-8. In four seasons, Sullivan was part of three-straight SCIAC Championship teams from 2010-12.
The Beaverton, Ore. native is in the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance at Claremont McKenna College and is working on his Master of Arts in finance. He completed his undergraduate degree of economics and mathematics at CMC in three years and for his efforts in the classroom and on the court, has twice been selected to the SCIAC All-Academic team.
