Second Stage of Web.com Qualifying Tournament next up for former Stag golfer Lee
LANTANA, Texas – Former Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men’s
golfer and NCAA Division III national champion Tain
Lee has advanced to the Second Stage of the Web.com Tour
Qualifying Tournament. The former Stag tied for 20th
with a four round score of 6-under par Oct. 8-11 at Lantana Golf
Club to advance to the Second Stage which is in November. It has
not yet been decided which of the six Second Stage sites Lee will
be assigned to.
At Lantana Golf Club, Lee shot back-to-back rounds of 69 in the first two rounds of the tournament. The third day saw Lee shoot a 70 and he closed out the tournament with a 74.
In addition to Stage 2 of the Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament, Lee has also qualified for the Second Stage of the European Tour and will be returning to Spain in early November to compete.

The Web.com Tour is the developmental tour for the PGA Tour for golfers who have yet to earn their PGA Tour card, or who have done so but then failed to win enough money to stay at that level.
