Coach Romano begins his tenth season with the CMS swim program. In the 1970's and 1980's, Coach Romano spent 15 years with the El Monte Aquatic Club, one of the top AAU clubs in America. During this time, his swimmers produced Olympic medals and many National Age Group records.

With CMS, Coach Tom spends most of his time goading the distance swimmers in lanes 1-4 and has taken the lead in developing a resurgent "D-Unit."  Tom and his wife, Barbara, live in Upland.
