Three Athenas Earn All-SCIAC Honors
The women's basketball All-SCIAC team was announced today and three Athenas were selected to the team. Frannie Hemmelgarn and Aria Krumwiede earned First Team honors and Kalika Tullock earned Second Team honors.

Athenas Continue Strong Play At Home
The women's basketball team improved to 12-1 at home this season with a 71-66 win over La Verne on Saturday night. The Athenas moved ahead of the Leopards in the SCIAC standings with CMS now alone in third with a 7-4 record while La Verne is now in a three-way tie for fourth at 6-5.

Athenas Earn Important Win Against Regals
The CMS Athenas staged an impressive victory at Ducey Gymnasium Thursday night defeating the Cal Lutheran Regals 68-53. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps improved to 16-5 overall and 6-4 (t3rd) in SCIAC. The win moved the team out of a three-way tie for fourth and into a two-way tie for third.

Athenas Close Out Poets With Late Run
CMS closed out their game with Whittier on Thurssday with an 11-4 run to win 89-82 at Ducey Gym. The Athenas were two for two from the field and seven for eight from the line in the final two minutes. CMS improved to 15-4 overall and 5-3 (t3rd) in SCIAC.

Athenas Raise Awareness Of Childhood Cancer
The Athenas basketball team wore 'Team Pearce' shirts for their January 29 game against Redlands and will wear them again in tonight's game against Whittier. Team Pearce represents the PearceQ Foundation which raises funds to assist families whose children are battling cancer.

CMS Wins Double Overtime Thriller
The Athenas basketball team beat the University of Redlands 90-83 in double overtime on Saturday night at Ducey Gymnasium. CMS improved to 14-4 overall and 3-2 (t3rd) in SCIAC while knocking Redlands (11-7, 5-2) out of a first place tie in the conference.

Tenacious Defense Leads the Way for Athenas
The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Athenas improved to 12-3 overall and 2-2 in conference, as they defeated the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens 79-57 on Thursday night in Ducey Gymnasium.
