Athenas Lose To Tigers On Senior Night

Senior night for the women's lacrosse team was a 15-13 heartbreaker of a loss to Occidental.  CMS led 8-5 at halftime, but in the second half Occidental came back with a strong rally.  "The whole game was a rally" stated Head Coach Heather Semelmacher. "We were tied, down, up, tied.  The eight meter fouls and the hitting the goal post five times in a row was heart breaking."

Senior Ali Ambramovitz lead the Athenas with four goals and two assists. Madi Shove, Christina Khavarian, Erin Chavanne and Claire Peterson all followed with each of them adding two goals to the score board. Leslie Sachs came in strong with a great run down the entire field with one unassisted goal to help lead the Athenas into half time.  Madeline Hurlburt finished strong with 20 saves and 14 completed clears.
