CLAREMONT, Calif. - Senior goalkeeper Sadie Brown of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's soccer team earned the SCIAC Defensive Player of the Week honor for games through Sunday, Oct. 26, the conference office announced today.

Brown had her seventh and eighth shutouts of the season, both against nationally ranked opponents, as CMS came away with a pair of scoreless ties on the week. She had four saves in a scoreless draw at Pomona-Pitzer on Wednesday, two of which came from tight range, and then had four more in a 0-0 tie with Cal Lutheran on Saturday.

With the two clean sheets, Brown lowered her goals against average to 0.51 on the year, while filling her usual role as the quarterback of the defense and a strong distributor out of the back.

CMS will close out the regular season with a home game against Caltech on Saturday at 11, which will also serve as the program's Senior Day, as Brown and the Class of 2026 will be honored prior to the contest.
