  • CMS Lacrosse Advances to NCAA Second Round

    In its second-ever NCAA tournament appearance, the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Athenas beat Ohio Wesleyan University Wednesday to advance to the second round against The College of New Jersey. The Athenas built a solid lead and held on in the waning moments to beat the Bishops by a score of 19-17.
  • Women's Lacrosse To Host First Round Game Of NCAA Championships

    The Athenas have been selected to host a first round game of the NCAA Division III Championships. CMS (12-2) will host Ohio Wesleyan University (10-4) on Wednesday, May 7 on Pritzlaff Field at 3:00 pm.

    CMS is ranked first in West Region in the latest NCAA regional rankings. CMS is 10-2 overall and 2-0 against the other ranked West teams.
  • CMS Finishes Home Campaign Undefeated

    The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps lacrosse team downed Pomona-Pitzer 19-5 Wednesday in the first of their two cross-campus rivalry games. CMS finished the season 6-0 at home and the CMS senior class (pictured) finished their careers 26-7 at home including 11-1 in the last two seasons.

    The lacrosse team was able to hold off the rain and the Redlands Bulldogs 17-8 tonight under the lights on Zinda Field. CMS improves to 8-2 overall while Redlands dropped to 3-5.
