CMS pitcher Julia Cruz (JR, Tustin) and her teammates earned national honors this week.  The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) awarded Cruz the National Player of the Week in Division lll for her outstanding performances against SCIAC rival University of Redlands and Dlll Independent and ninth-ranked Chapman University.

The team was ranked 17th in the latest NFCA Top 25 rankings.  This is the first time in program history the team has been nationally ranked.
