5/13/10Softball Wins First NCAA Playoff GameCMS achieved a program milestone on Thursday with their first win in the NCAA Championships. The Athenas beat Central College (IA) 8-4 in the Indianola, IA regional. CMS, the #4 seed in the regional, will face #1 seed Linfield at 4:00 Central on Friday. |
5/10/10Softball Qualifies For NCAA TournamentAfter a school record 33 regular season wins, the softball team was selected for the 60-team NCAA Championship field for the second consecutive season on Monday. CMS (33-8) will open the double-elimination regional against Central College (30-12) at 2:00 Central on Thursday, May 13. |
