Entering his junior season as a member of the CMS men's swimming and diving program, where he competes in the individual medley and breaststroke events ... Ranks No. 3 in CMS history in the 200 breast (2:01.18) and No. 9 in CMS history in the 400 IM (4:02.38).

2023-24 (Sophomore)
SCIAC All-Academic Team ... Earned fourth place in the 200 breast at the SCIAC Championships with a 2:03.16 ... Won both the 200 breast and the 200 IM in a dual with Occidental ... Earned first place in the 200 breat in a dual against Redlands, while adding second-place finishes in the 100 breast and 200 IM ... Was second in three events (100 free, 100 breast, 400 IM) in a tri-meet with Cal Lutheran and La Verne. 

2022-23 (First-Year)
SCIAC All-Academic Team ... Qualified for the finals in the 400 IM at the SCIAC Championships and finished fourth in 4:02.38, moving him into the top 10 in program history (ninth) ... Won the consolation heat in the 100 breast in 56.96 and the 200 breast in 2:01.18, which is the second-fastest time in program history ... Helped the 400 medley "B" relay team win its heat in 3:22.63 ... Won 11 races during the regular season in 10 different events ... Swept the 100 breast, the 200 breast and the 400 IM in a tri-meet with Cal Lutheran and La Verne ... Earned wins in the 50 free, 100 breast and 200 IM in a dual with Redlands ... Took the 100 fly and the 200 free in a dual with Whittier ... Took first in the 300 breast and the 300 IM in the Cal Baptist Distance Meet ... Won the 200 fly at the CMS Invitational. 

Prior to CMS
Attended Piedmont Hills High School in San Jose, where he was a member of the swimming team ... Also competed for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics.

Attends Harvey Mudd ... Older sister, Janet Tran, attended CMC ('20) and was a member of the swimming and diving program.
