Biography
On Court: 4-Star recruit on TRN with a Class of 2023 high ranking of No. 77 nationally and No. 8 in Texas...has won multiple L2, L3, and L4 USTA singles and doubles titles and ranked as high as No. 33 in doubles and No. 61 in singles nationally...played four years of high school tennis for Plano West HS, two at the No. 1 position...was a two-time state champion, winning one individual and one team title in 2021-2022…2023-2024: made his Stags Tennis debut at the ITA West Regionals in September, losing two tight singles matches to McCandless and Calixto of Caltech and Redlands…was also selected to play the Skidmore Invitational in October where he played two additional singles matches…partnered both Josh Kim and Tarm Rojanasoonthon in the Fall segment, winning three of six doubles matches…got limited singles action during the dual match segment, appearing in five matches and winning all five…was a mainstay in the doubles lineup, playing with five different partners at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions…during a six-match win streak in March and April, won with three different partners (Mareedu, Rojanasoonthon, and Pham)…was second best among his teammates with a 77.9% service hold rate…finished 2024 with overall records of 5-4 in singles and 20-13 in doubles...2024-2025: had overall records of 6-2 in singles and 7-1 in doubles (with Schilling, Rojanasoonthon, and Kim)...after losing his opening singles dual at UC Riverside in a third set, went on to win his next five singles matches at Nos. 4-5 without the loss of a set...went undefeated in doubles duals, with biggest wins coming at D1 UC Riverside with Kim, and with Rojanasoonthon at D2 Westmont...was one of the Stags' statistical leaders in service holds (.855) and in deuce point success (.647)
