On-Court: 3-star recruit on TRN with a high of No. 101 nationally in the class of 2024…Former #1 ranked doubles player in the US…reached the semifinals of Easter Bowl, National Doubles Championships, and Winter National Championships in doubles.....2024-2025: made an immedite impact at the ITA West Regionals with doubles partner Caleb Settles, as the pair became the second freshmen only doubles team in CMS history (Schils / Wang 2006) to win ITA Regionals and advance to the ITA Cup...Vu and Settles were unseeded and defeated the top three seeds en route to the title, then won two of three matches at ITA Cup to finish the fall as the No. 1 ranked team in the West, and No. 9 nationally, and earn ITA All-American honors....in singles, lost in the first round of the B Flight, but went on to win his next three matches, ultimately losing to partner Settles in the consolation final...in the spring segment played five singles duals at No. 6, and doubles at No. 1 and No. 2, all with Settles....after losing his first singles dual against Point Loma, won his last four singles duals with the loss of only one set...in doubles, he and Settles played 43 matches together in 2024-25, setting a single season record for most matches by a Stag doubles team...their 29 wins puts them 6th best in Stags Tennis history for a singles season...Vu's overall records were 7-3 in singles and 29-14 in doubles, earning ITA All-American honors in doubles, and ITA Scholar-Athlete accolades...he finishes with doubles rankings of No. 3 regionally and No. 16 nationally with Settles, after having qualified for the NCAA doubles tournament and reaching the quarterfinals.

Personal: Son of Sang and Michelle…Father was a professional cyclist in Vietnam, finishing 5th in the 1993 SEA Games…has one older sister, Katelyn, who plays tennis for UC San Diego (‘25) and holds the school’s Division I record for singles wins…loves to write and tell stories…enjoys watching sports and playing video games…favorite player is Rafael Nadal.
