CLAREMONT, Calif. - Jordan Pavlisin will join the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps athletic department for the 2025-26 academic year, assisting with both the strength and conditioning staff and the football staff as an offensive line coach.Â
Pavlisin joins CMS after spending the last three seasons as the runnings back coach with the Michigan Panthers of the United Football League. He helped the Panthers improve their win total from two wins to four in his first season in 2023, and then to seven in 2024 before reaching the UFL Championship game in 2025. His teams ranked second in the league in rushing yards in both 2024 and 2025, as well as first in rushing touchdowns in 2024 and second in 2025.Â
In addition to his role with the Panthers, Pavlisin also has worked at Orange Lutheran High School in Southern California since 2023, his alma mater, where he has been the run game coordinator, and worked with the running backs, tight ends and offensive line. Â
Prior to his current coaching positions, Pavlisin was a graduate assistant at the University of Louisiana-Monroe from 2021-2023, working with the offensive line and as an offensive analyst. He helped ULM improve from a winless season to a 4-8 record in his first campaign, and also worked with the special teams, assisting the field goal unit.Â
Pavlisin played collegiately at Chapman from 2007-2011, where he was a four-year starter on the offensive line. He was selected to the 2010 D3football.com All-West Team, and was twice chosen the team's Offensive Player of the Year. He went on to play professionally for one year in Germany, and for two years in the USA in in the Professional Indoor Football League and the Arena Football League.Â
Pavlisin graduated from Chapman in 2011 and is currently pursuing a graduate degree from Louisiana-Monroe.
