CMS Inducts First Class Into Chi Alpha Sigma Honors Society

CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps athletic department inducted its first-ever class into the Chi Alpha Sigma honors society with a pre-game reception before the men's basketball game with Cal Lutheran on Wednesday, with the inductees in attendance honored during a halftime ceremony.

Chi Alpha Sigma is a non-profit organization established to recognize four-year college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of college competition. The student-athletes inducted have completed at least four full-time semesters and earned a cumulative GPA 3.7 or higher, as well as being in good standing on their team.

The Faculty Athletic Representatives for Claremont-Mudd-Scripps were also recognized for their contributions to the department, including Seth Lobis, Florian Madison, and Andrew Finley from Claremont McKenna, Gordon Krauss from Harvey Mudd, and Nancy Neiman from Scripps.
