Completed his senior season with the CMS swimming and diving program, where he competes in the distance events ... Graduated as a two-time national champion and four-time first-team All-American in the 1650 ... Finished with CMS records in the 500 free (4:24.54), 1000 free (9:14.11) and the 1650 free (15:17.24).

Repeated as national champion in the 1650 with a 15:18.01 ... Also earned first-team All-America status with a third-place finish in the 500, his first time on the podium in that event after three second-team All-America finishes ... Set a CMS and SCIAC record in the 500 at the NCAA championships with a 4:24.54 ... Earned the SCIAC title in the 1650 and the 500, taking the 1650 for the fourth time and the 500 for the first time since his freshman year ... Won distance events in the regular season eight times. 

2023-24 (Junior)
National Champion (1650) ... Second-Team All-American (500) ... SCIAC Champion (1650) ... All-SCIAC (500) ... Earned the national championship in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 15:17.48, winning a nail-biting finish by just .07 over Connor Vincent of NYU ... Finished 11th in the 500 free at NCAAs with a time of 4:29.37, which placed him third in the consolation heat ... Earned the SCIAC title in the 1650 for the third straight season with a 15:26.81, a margin of just over six seconds. Was second in the 500 at SCIACs to teammate Anderson Breazeale, finishing in 4:26.79 ... Qualified for the finals in the 200 free at SCIAC and came in seventh with a 1:41.62, earning a combined 49 points in his three events to help CMS to the team title.

2022-23 (Sophomore)
All-American (1650) ... Honorable Mention All-American (500) ... SCIAC Champion (1650) ... All-SCIAC (500 free) ... Earned All-America honors at the NCAA Division III Championships with a fifth-place finish in the 1650, earning a time of 15:28.47 ... Was also an honorable mention All-American in the 500 with an 11th place finish in 4:26.74 .. Won the SCIAC title in the 1650 by a margin of over 13 seconds, finishing in 15:30.01 ... Was a close second in the 500 free, finishing in 4:28.98, earning All-SCIAC honors ... Finalist in the 200 free, coming in sixth ... Won 12 races in the regular season, including a sweep of the 500 and the 1650 in a tri-meet with La Verne and Cal Lutheran, a sweep of the 500 and 1000 in duals with Redlands and Occidental and a tri-meet with Caltech and Chapman, a 1650 win against Pomona-Pitzer, 500 free wins in duals with Whittier and Cal Baptist and a 1000 win against Division I UC San Diego,

Finished second in the NCAA Division III Championships with a 15:17.24, breaking his own school and SCIAC record ... Also set school and league records in the 500 with a 4:25.67 to come in first place in the consolation finals, earning ninth place ... Part of an 800-yard freestyle relay team that earned honorable mention All-America honors with a 14th place finish ... Dominated the 1650 at the SCIAC Championships with a then-school record time of 15:22.76, winning the race by over 15 seconds ... Won a closer battle in the 500, edging out Larry Yu of Pomona-Pitzer 4:26.68 to 4:26.97 in the final reach to the wall, setting a new CMS record at the time. 

Prior to CMS
Attended Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, where he was a member of the swimming and diving team ... Also competed for the Dallas Mustangs ... Broke a 31-year high school record in the 500 free ... Named first-team All-City, All-District, and All-Region, and second-team All-State Elite Team ... An Academic All-State selection ... AP Scholar with Distinction, Honors Graduate, and National Honors Society member.

Personal
Attends Harvey Mudd, where he majors in computer science ... Mother, Laurie G. Lang, was a diver at Southern Methodist University ... Chose the Stags because "I was impressed by the Harvey Mudd academics and was excited to join the CMS Swim Team. Even though I couldn’t visit, the camaraderie within the team and within the student body was evident online. I look forward to joining such a select group of people."
