At CMS
Completed his senior season as a member of the CMS swimming and diving team, where he swam in the breaststroke events ... Holds the school record in the 100 breast (54.88) and ranks second in the 200 breast (2:01.45) ... Part of 200 and 400 medley relay teams that hold CMS school records (1:27.38 and 3:12.34, respectively).
2021-22 (Senior)
First-Team All-American (200 medley relay, 400 medley relay) ... SCIAC Champion (200 medley relay, 400 medley relay) ... All-SCIAC (200 breast, 400 breast) ... CSCAA Scholar All-America Team ... SCIAC All-Academic Team ... Part of two medley relay teams that had runner-up finishes at the NCAA Division III Championships ... Swam the breaststroke leg for a 200 medley relay that finishing in 1:27.38 to earn second place, .30 out of first, while setting new CMS and SCIAC records ... Also helped the 400 medley relay to a 3:12.34 finish to come in second and set new CMS and SCIAC records ... Finished second in the 100 breast at SCIAC Championships in 54.88 to break his own school record ... Took third in the 200 breast with a personal-best time of 2:01.45 to earn all-league honors ... Won SCIAC titles with the 200 and 400 medley relay teams in SCIAC record times, winning the 200 in 1:28.57 and the 400 in 3:15.05 (later breaking both at NCAA Championships).

All-American (400 medley relay) ... All-SCIAC (100 breast, 400 medley relay) ... CSCAA First-Team Scholar All-America ... SCIAC All-Academic Team ... Came in third place at the SCIAC Championships in the 100 breast with a 55.77, which set a new program record ... Added a sixth-place finish in the 200 breast in 2:04.54, which places seventh in CMS history, giving him 33 individual points in a meet that the Stags won by only 14 ... Also helped the 200 medley relay B team win its heat for 20 more points towards the CMS total ... Won the 100 breast in a dual with Pomona-Pitzer in 56.22, which moved him into second place in CMS history at the time ... Also won the 100 breast in duals with Redlands and La Verne ... Took both breaststroke events at the CMS Invitational.
2018-19 (First-Year)
SCIAC All-Academic Team … Won the 100 breast at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational, defeating his older brother Henry by just one-hundredth of a second (58.25 to 58.26) ... Swam a 57.12 in the 100 breast at the SCIAC Championships, the ninth best time out of a field of 42, as well as a 2:07.35 in the 200 breast ... Also swam a 22.24 in the 50 free at SCIACs.
Prior to CMS
Attended Kamiak High School, where he was a member of the swimming team ... Also competed for the South Snohomish County Dolphins club team ... School-record holder in the 100-yard breaststroke ... Came in third place in the Washington State 4A Championships in the 100-yard breaststroke, and helped his 200-yard medley relay team to a second-place finish ... Helped Kamiak to a second-place finish in the states and a 4A district title ... Volunteered as a local swimming coach with the Special Olympics.
Personal
Attends Claremont McKenna, where he majors in mathematics and literature, with a minor in data science ... Brother, Henry, was also on the CMS swimming and diving team and graduated in 2020 from Harvey Mudd ... Cousin, Xander Bartone, attends Pomona and competes on the Pomona-Pitzer track and field team.
