On Court: Anaggressive baseliner who took the ball early and dictatedplay...as a freshman played #3 and #4 singles,finishing 16-6 overall and earning Second Team All-SCIAChonors as well as a West Region ITA Rookie of the Yearnomination...at one point in the 2004 season had won 15 consecutivematches...finished 3-4 in doubles, playing with Jason Evans, JohnGoldis, and David Oehm...as a sophomore ranked #41nationally going into 2005 after a 3-1 record in the Fall, where helost in the quarterfinals of the ITA West Regionals....in doubles,played with Oehm and went 1-1...in the spring played #1 singles andfinished with a 16-15 record...played #3 doubles with Jason Evansand had the fourth most successful single season doubles record inStags history, going 22-5...earned 1st Team All-SCIAC honors andwas the West Region ITA Player To Watch...as ajunior came into Fall 2005 with a ranking of #50nationally and reached the semifinals of the ITA West Regionals,losing to eventual champion Matt Seeberger from UC Santa Cruz...heand partner Jason Evans reached the quarterfinals of the doubles atRegionals...played at #3 and #4 singles where he had a 17-9record...partnered DePaolo and Evans at #3 doubles to go19-5...earned 1st Team All-SCIAC honors for secondstraight year...as a senior reached the quartersof the ITA West Regional singles, losing to teammate and eventualchampion Mike Starr...partnered Ben Hough to reach the semis of thedoubles...had a 22-7 record at #3 and #4 singles in thespring...played at #3 doubles with Oehm and Feldhausen to go 15-6for the season...1st Team All-SCIAC for third straightyear...career singles mark of 72-37 puts him 12th all-time inmatches won.

Personal: Majored in Cognitive &Behavioural Neuroscience with a dual major in Chinese Language& Literature...served in CMC’s Army ReserveOfficers’ Training Corps (ROTC) as a Freshman and was amember of the Inland Empire Ranger Challenge team... on CMS’Student Athlete Advisory Council... avid intramural sportscompetitor, participating in swimming (2-time winner of 50mButterfly), inner-tube water polo, flag football, dodgeball, andtable tennis events... a member of CMC’s pre-medicineclub...one-time member of “Poetry in Motion,” a studentgroup of aspiring breakdancers...earned ITAScholar-Athlete three of four years and CMS Wall ofFame honors as a senior.
