Graduated as the CMS record-holder in the 110-meter hurdles (14.43), after breaking a mark in 2024 (14.59, William Fulton) that had stood for 33 years ... Part of the CMS record in the 4x100 relay (40.64).  

2024-25 (Senior)
All-SCIAC (110 hurdles) ... SCIAC All-Academic Team ... CSC Academic All-District ... Came in second place in the 110-meter hurdles at the SCIAC Championships with a 14.91 ... Also competed in the long jump, finishing seventh to help CMS to the team title ... Won the 110 hurdles at both SCIAC Quad Cup events. 

2023-24 (Junior)
All-SCIAC (110 hurdles) ... SCIAC All-Academic Team ... Came in second place at the SCIAC Championships in the 110-meter hurdles with a CMS record of 14.50, breaking the old record which had stood since 1991 (14.59 by William Fulton) ... Recorded a 14.43 at the Redlands Final Qualifier for a new CMS record (although wind was a 2.8) ... Also scored in the long jump at SCIACs with a seventh-place finish ... Won the 110-meter hurdles at the Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers with a 14.86 ... Was part of a winning 4x100 relay at the Pomona-Pizter All-Comers and a winning 4x400 relay at the first SCIAC Multi-Dual.

2022-23 (Sophomore)
SCIAC Champion (110 hurdles, 4x100 relay) ... USTFCCCA All-West Region (110 hurdles, 4x100 relay) ... NCAA Qualifier (4x100 relay) ... SCIAC Track Athlete of the Week (March 6) ... USTFCCCA All-Academic selection ... SCIAC All-Academic Team ... Earned the SCIAC Championship in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.60, setting a new PR ... Anchored the 4x100 relay to a SCIAC title in 40.64 seconds ... Also had a top-10 finish in the long jump at SCIACs, coming in ninth ... Qualified for nationals in the 4x100 relay and helped the Stags finish 13th ... Won the 110-meter hurdles and the triple jump at the third SCIAC Multi-Dual, hosted by CMS ... Won both hurdles events, and the 4x100 relay at the first SCIAC Multi-Dual, earning SCIAC Athlete of the Week honors ... 2021-22 (First-Year)
USTFCCCA All-West Region (110 hurdles) ... All-SCIAC (110 hurdles) ... Came in second place in the 110-meter hurdles at the SCIAC Championships to earn all-league honors, finishing in 14.80 seconds ... Also gave CMS points in the long jump (fourth, 6.58 meters) and triple jump (seventh, 13.02 meters) to help the Stags to the team title ... Had a 14.74 in the 110 hurdles at the Redlands Final Qualifier ... Swept the long jump and the triple jump at the third SCIAC Multi-Dual on April 16 ... Captured first place in the 110 hurdles at the second SCIAC Multi-Dual at Burns Track Complex on April 2, and at the first SCIAC Multi-Dual at La Verne on March 5 ... Part of the winning 4x100 relay team at the Pomona-Pitzer Collegiate All-Comers, his first collegiate meet. 

Prior to CMS
Attended Charter Oak High School, where he was a member of the track and field team ... Was a CIF Southern Section finalist in the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles ... Was a Boys State Delegate ... Served within the special needs ministry within his church ... Earned all-league honors as both a receiver and safety for the football team ... Earned school's Athlete of the Year award,

Personal
Attends Harvey Mudd, where he majors in computer science ... Father, Stephen Martinez, was a member of the track and field team at UCLA ... Played his freshman year as a running back on the football team.
