Coach Adams begins his tenth season with the CMS diving program,bringing exciting skills to the pool deck. He has coached 6different divers to 13 SCIAC championships, two All-American awardsand 6 honorable mention All-American awards at CMS. After moving tothe area, he established himself in the Southern Californiacoaching circle. In addition to his coaching duties with the Stagsand Athenas, Adams is the head coach of the Turn ‘n BurnDiving club, located in Riverside. After the NCAA Division IIIseason concludes, Jimmy coaches the diving teams at RiversideCommunity College and Rancho Cucamonga High School.

Prior to his move to Southern California, Adams coached withAmerican Flyers Diving, one of the premier clubs in Ohio. Coach"Jimmy," as his divers call him, is an accomplished athlete and hasspent several years as a professional diver. He has appeared inshows throughout the United States, consisting of high divingexhibitions, as well as springboard and platform dives. In 2003,Jimmy represented the USA in the annual cliff diving championshipsheld in Acapulco, Mexico, placing 11th overall. As a high schoolstudent, Jimmy was the 1988 and 1989 Colorado High School statechampion on the 1-meter springboard, setting a state record in '89for Wasson High School in Colorado Springs. Jimmy, his wife Stacyand daughter Delilah live in Rancho Cucamonga.
