Coach Walkington returns for his third year at CMS working withthe javelin throwers.  In addition, he heads up the team'sstrength program while also coaching the CMS Swim and Dive team intheir "Dry Land Training".  Walkington is also recognized byUSA Track & Field as Certified Level 2 Throws Coach.

Walkington attended grad school at Cal Poly Pomona where he isthe school record holder in the javelin (222-0) which he set at theCalifornia/Nevada Championships.  He earned All-Americanhonors in 2011 by placing fourth at the NCAA Division IIChampionships.  Prior to attending Cal Poly Pomona, Walkingtoncompleted his undergraduate studies at UC Davis where he competedon the track as well.
