CLAREMONT, Calif. – Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's tennis player Kristin Lim is the third CMS student-athlete to be featured in a three-part video series which celebrates the second annual NCAA Division III Week. The week of April 8-14 has been designated Division III week and is aimed at celebrating what Division III athletic programs such as Claremont-Mudd-Scripps have to offer student-athletes in the classroom, in the field of play and in the community and what each school's student-athletes have accomplished in those disciplines.

Lim is a senior and is in her third season on the women's tennis team after transferring from Cornell after her freshman year. So far as a senior, Lim has led the Athenas to a 20-0 record and a No. 2 national ranking. Lim won the 2011 NCAA Division III singles national championship and has twice been a semi-finalist in doubles. She also twice has been named as the SCIAC Player of the Year.

For her efforts on the courts and in the classroom, the economics and accounting major at Claremont McKenna College has also been twice recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as a scholar-athlete. Last season Lim added Capital One Academic All-District and All-America honors to her list of accolades. The Honolulu, Hawaii native is the head of community service for the Hawaii Club and is also involved with the Claremont Accounting Association on campus.
