CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's tennis team capped off a 7-0 season in SCIAC play with a 6-1 win over Pomona-Pitzer, in a match that started on Saturday night before rain hit, and was completed on Sunday afternoon at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center.

With the win, CMS now stands at 28-1 on the season and completes its 20th straight undefeated season in league matches. CMS has now won 177 SCIAC-sponsored matches in a row, including 163 straight conference matches, and 14 SCIAC Tournament matches since the league went to the four-team postseason format in 2018.

Anirudh Reddy and Henry Wilson won 6-3 at No. 3, and Advik Mareedu and Caleb Settles clinched the doubles point, with a 7-4 tiebreaker win at No. 1. Pomona-Pitzer won a 7-5 tiebreaker at No. 2 to avoid the sweep, but CMS was able to take the 1-0 lead into singles.

Henry Wilson then made it 3-0 in favor of the Stags with a dominant 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3, and Settles secured the team victory with a similarly dominant 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 6.

Sibi Raja was able to come away with a 6-4, 4-6, 10-3 win at No. 4, while Pomona-Pitzer was able to salvage a point at No. 5, where Tanner Ige won 7-6, 6-4.
