The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a committee made up of Stag and Athena student-athletes representing all 21 teams. The vision statement of the CMS Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is We Lead the Way

SAAC’s mission of leadership is executed as follows:
  • Lead in the Community
    • SAAC is dedicated to giving back and strengthening ties with the local community
    • SAAC provides feedback and insight into athletic department policies and proposed NCAA and Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SCIAC) legislation
  • Lead on Campus
    • SAAC strives to foster camaraderie and unity between student-athletes and the campus community
  • Lead on your Team
    • SAAC representatives advocate for their teams by voicing their perspectives in SAAC meetings
    • SAAC representatives communicate information and initiatives from SAAC, the athletic department, and the NCAA back to their teammates
    • SAAC representatives take advantage of leadership development opportunities to become stronger leaders for their team
SAAC Representatives:
  • Each CMS team has a SAAC representative; if a team has a member on the Executive Board, an additional representative is able to join
  • SAAC representatives must serve the entire academic year

  • October 4, 4 p.m.
  • October 25, 4 p.m.
  • November 15, 4 p.m.
  • January 31, 4 p.m.
  • February 28, 4 p.m.
