Biography

High School: Scholar-Athlete for the San Clemente Tritons. Awarded Pitcher of the Year as a sophomore in 2007.

2010: Came out of the bullpen as a freshmen compiling 26 innings in 13 appearances and finishing the year with a 2-1 record and a save. Co-led the team in pickoffs (1). 

2011: Started on the mound for the CMS Stags, throwing 69 innings on 8 starts and 5 relief appearances. Led the team in pickoffs (3) and fielding percentage (1.000). Went the distance twice in 2011, including a complete game win against Pomona-Pitzer.

2012:  Returned to his role a starter, putting together 92 innings of work while only walking 31 batters in this span. Posted a 3.75 ERA with a 1.23 WHIP in SCIAC play. Led the team in pickoffs (5) and tossed a complete game shutout in a 2-0 win at Redlands. Was awarded pitcher of the year by his coaches and teammates.

2013: Took the year off to pursue academic interests.

Personal: Chad was born and raised in San Clemente, CA to Walt and Shelle Hadzinsky. Chad has an older brother, Tyler, who played baseball for the Chapman Panthers…Chad is an Economics major at CMC and purses computer engineering in his spare time.
