Attended John Paul II High School in Texas, where he was a member of the basketball team ... Earned the 6-6A UIL Freshman of the Year Award ... Two-time TAPPS 2-6A First-Team All-District and Second-Team All-State selection ... Twice named to the TAPPS 6A All-State Tournament Team ... Helped John Paul II to the 6A State Championship in 2020 after a semifinalist appearance in 2019 ... Also played for the Marcus Smart YGC36 team ... Earned Academic All-District honors four times, and Academic All-State honors twice ... National Merit Finalist and Bishop Grahmann Award Winner ... Involved outside of basketball with the Young Men's Service League, Recruitment Leadership Council, Student Mentors, and Mu Alpha Theta honors society.
