Won the pole vault at the La Verne Invitational at 14'11" ... Took first in the pole vault at the first round of the SCIAC Quad Cup ... Was third at the SCIAC Quad Cup Championship.Â

Attended Los Alamitos High School, where he competed in track and field ... Was eighth in the CIF Southern Section with a 14'10" in the pole vault, which matched his PR ... Finished in first in the pole vault in five different regular season meets as a senior.Â
