Lexi Gonzalez enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps softball team in 2025.
Gonzalez was a Division I softball player at CSU Fullerton, where she graduated in 2017. She was a first-team All-Big West selection as a junior and senior, while also earning second-team all-region distinction as a junior.
After graduation, she played professionally in Puerto Rico for Juncos and earned a spot on the Puerto Rican National Team in 2017. She spent one year as a high school coach at Bishop Amat, and then became a Junior Area scout for the Oakland Athetics from 2018-20 and served as a national scouting coordinator for Perfect Game from 2021-22.
Recently, she has worked as an ESPN+ analyst for CSU Fullerton, where she graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism and worked a sports reporter and on the OC News school broadcast crew. She went on to earn a masters of science degree in sports management from Southern New Hampshire in 2022.
