2015-16: Played in 11 of the 29 games. (1/09) recorded a steal with a break-away 3 in win over Whittier. Van Stryk is part of the 2016 SCIAC tournament champs and NCAA tournament participant, beating Trinity (Tex.) in the first round.   

2014-15: Saw action in 8 of the 28 games. (1/5/15) Played 9 minutes and scored 3 points for an Athenas win over Caltech. Van Stryk is a part of the 2015 SCIAC tournament champs and NCAA participant.

2013-14: Missed most of season due to injury...Appeared in 2 games. Was a part of the 2014 SCIAC tournament champs and appeared in the 2014 NCAA post-season tournament 

High School: Was a 2013 graduate from El Camino Real Charter High School after attending Granada Hills Charter High School 2009-2012...Graduated as an AP Scholar with Distinction. Played two years of varsity and two years of junior varsity basketball...All-League 2nd Team Senior year... Won Scholar Athlete Award Junior and Senior years...League Champions 2012-2013.

Personal: Born in Tarzana, CA...Daughter of Lauren and Albert Van Stryk...Has one brother: Nick...Biology & Pre-Med Major...Wants to be an orthodontist...Opted to stay awake during an oral surgery because it was fascinating...Most thrilling sports moment was her senior night when they played against her former high school team and won.  She was mentioned in the newspaper the next day...Biggest sports hero is Michael Jordan because he was in control of his success and never let negativity get to him or stop him from accomplishing his goals...Chose CMS because she liked the culture of the team and very interested in attending Scripps College.
