Competed in three races for the Athenas, running a 5K at the Coyote Challenge and the UCR Invitational, and a 6K at the Highlander Invitational, also at Riverside ... Had a top time of an 18:13.2 in the 5K anda 22:31.0 in the 6K.
Prior to CMS
Attended Monte Vista Christian High School in Watsonville, California, where she was a distance runner ... Finished second in the PCAL Cross Country Championships ... Was 16th in the state championships with a PR of 18:49.1 (5K) ... Won four regular season meets ... During track and field season, won the 3200 meters at the PCAL Championships ... Came in first place seven times in the 3200 ... Placed seventh at the CCS Championships ... Also was the runner-up in the conference championships in the 1600 meters.Â
