Raechel Lewin enters her second season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's and women's water polo programs in 2025-26. 

Lewin was a member of the women's water polo team at the University of California, where she graduated in 2019. She was a member of the Golden Bear Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and earned USA Water Polo Academic All-America honors while competing, scoring a high of 18 goals in the 2017 season. She also helped the Golden Bears to three straight appearances in the NCAA Semifinals from 2017-19. 

Over the last three years, she has been a familiar face around the Claremont Coleges as a student consultant for both Pomona-Pitzer and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. While with CMS, she has worked closely with student-athletes to enhance mental skills critical for optimal performance, including concentration, confidence and stress management. 

Lewin graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in American studies with an emphasis in sport psychology. She went on to play professionally overseas, while earning a master's degree in management psychology from the University of Nottingham in England. She has since also earned a master's in clinical psychology from California Baptist, and is currently pursuing a master's in sport and performance psychology and a Psy.D. in clinical psychology from CBU as well.
