Alvaro Castellon enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's soccer program in 2026.
Castellon most recently served as an assistant coach at La Verne for the last two seasons, assisting in all areas of the program's operations, including practice sessions, film analysis sessions and recruiting operations.
In addition to his duties at La Verne, Castellano also served as both a head coach and an assistant coach with the SoCal Blues ECNA and DPL Program for the last year, running daily operations for a U13 team and assisting with U19 teams.
Prior to joining the SoCal Blues, he also served as a head coach and an assistant coach with Sporting CA for four years from 2021-25, assisting with multiple U17 and U19 teams, while serving as the head coach for the U19 ECRL and ECNL teams in his final year.
Castellon's first coaching experiences cams when he served a head coach for International FC/Sporting CA SGV from 2019-2023, running daily operations for a 2010 girls team and assisting in operations with a 2007 girls team.
