Annika Mittelsteadt

Annika Mittelsteadt enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps swimming and diving program, after competing at Chapman University on the swimming and diving team for the last four years, serving as a team captain as a senior.

Mittelsteadt competed in the distance freestyle for the Panthers, earning points for Chapman in the 200 free, 500 free, and 1650 free at the 2026 SCIAC Championships. 

While she was competing, Mittelsteadt also became a certified personal trainer, serving as an athletic training intern at Chapman. She also worked as a physical therapy technician at ProSport Physical Therapy in Costa Mesa, and worked as a swim instructor at Life Time in Irvine, California in 2024.

Mittelsteadt graduated from Chapman with a bachelor's of science degree in applied human physiology, earning department honors.
