Emily Orlove enters her second season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's tennis team in 2026-27.

In her deubt season, Orlove earned the ITA West Region Assistant Coach of the Year Award, after helping the Athenas to a 26-2 record. The Athenas were ranked No. 1 heading into the NCAA Championships, compiling a 26-match win streak after falling in their opener to Division I UC Riverside. Her debut season also included an ITA Indoor Championship, SCIAC regular season and postseason titles, and the NCAA Division III Doubles Championship (from Lindsay Eisenman and Rebecca Kong).  

Orlove served as a tennis professional at On the Rise Tennis in Denver during the four years prior to joining CMS, serving as the junior team tennis coach for ages 5-18. She has also been a tennis instructor at Denver Tennis Park for the past year after graduating from Maryville University. 

During her time at Maryville, Orlove played on the women's tennis team at the NCAA Division II level. She earned first-team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference distinction, as well as earning the league's James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award.

Orlove graduated from Maryville with a bachelors of science degree in biology, with minors in chemistry and sustainability.Â
