Eryn Cayetano enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's tennis program in 2026-27.
Cayetano was a captain of the women's tennis team at USC, where she played until 2024. She was an All-American in singles in 2022, finishing the year ranked No. 3 nationally by the ITA, and holding down the No. 1 spot after winning the ITA National Fall Singles Championship.
In 2023, Cayetano earned All-America honors in doubles after tallying a 19-5 record and reaching the NCAA Quarterfinals. Cayetano was also an All-Pac 12 selection in 2024, when she went 25-8 overall in singles and 19-3 in dual matches. and earned the ITA's Cissie Leary Sportsmanship Award and
After graduation, Cayetano has moved on to a professional career, where she has earned six career ITF singles titles and 11 doubles times. She has earned a career-high rankings of 215 (doubles) and 383 (singles) from the World Tennis Association.
In addition to her success as a player, Cayetano also has worked as a tennis coach at the Pete Brown Academy in Inglewood and the First Break Academy in Carson since 2018.
Cayetano earned both a bachelor's degree in health and human science and a master's degree in gerontology from USC before her playing career finished in 2024.
