Julia Oliveras begins as a strength and conditioning coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps athletic department for the 2026-27 season.
Olivares graduated from Azusa Pacific in 2023, where she played softball, and then had an internship with the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee from October 2023 through May 2024.
In 2025, Olivares served as an intern with the Sport Performace department at the University of Southern California, working with Olympic sports, while also serving as an adjunct professor at Chaffey College.
Olivares is also familiar with Claremont, having held positions as a master trainer at the Claremont Club and as an assistant athletic performance coach at Pomona-Pitzer. She also held an internship at Village Fitness and Physical Therapy in Glendora.
Olivares graduated from Azusa Pacific with a degree in kinesiology in 2023, and went on to get her master's in kinesiology from Point Loma Nazarene in 2024. She holds a license as a corrective exercise specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
