Mike Anderson enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's basketball program in 2025-26.
Anderson has had some prior experience in the SCIAC, serving as an assistant coach with the Occidental men's basketball program from 2015-18, where he helped the Tigers to a seven-win improvement (12-13 to 19-7) and a second-place conference finish.
Anderson held a graduate assistant position at Washington State University in 2005-06, where he worked with Dick Bennett and Tony Bennett during their rebuild as they brought their program from the bottom of the PAC-12 to the Sweet 16 in 2008.
After finishing his tenure at Washington State, Anderson held a pair of high school coaching positions in Minnesota, coaching the Wayzata boys team in 2008-09 and the Breck boys team in 2013-14, before moving to California and starting at the collegiate level with Occidental.
Anderson graduated from Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in education, before getting master's degrees in education from both St. Mary's (Minn.) and Washington State, where his focus was in leadership and sports management.
