Rebekah Lewan joins the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps softball program as an assistant coach for the 2026-27 academic year, while also serving a dual role in athletic operations.
Lewan most recently served as a volunteer assistant at Division I CSU Fullerton, where she also held roles as director of data analytics and player development. She helped the Titans to a 41-15 overall record and regular season and postseason championships in the Big West Conference. CSU Fullerton went on to have a strong showing in the NCAA Championships, defeating California Baptist 3-2 and then giving No. 7 South Carolina a tough battle before falling 4-2 in an elimination game.
Lewan graduated from Hiram College in 2023, where she played softball. She went on to spend the next three years as the director of operations and pitching coach with Gogetter Softball, and as a group workout coach with MVMNT Athletics.
When not in softball season, Lewan will serve in the CMS athletic operations department, assisting with game management in the fall and winter.
Lewan graduated from Hiram with a degree in integrative exercise science with a sport health concentration. She served as a student athletic trainer at Hiram and has CPR/First Aid certification.
