William Thomas

William Thomas enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps water polo programs in 2025-26.

Thomas is a former player for the Stags, who was part of the program's first-ever national championship team in 2023, tallying 15 goals and 22 assists on the year. 

After graduating from Claremont McKenna, Thomas went on to coach the Foothill Water Polo Club's 16U team, beginning in January of 2025. He also was the coach for the Burlingame Water Polo Club at the 2024 Master's National Tournament in June of 2024. 

Durinhg his undergraduate playing days, Thomas also coached the Lamorinda Water Polo Club, coaching the 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U teams over a span of two years. 

Thomas earned a degree from Claremont McKenna in science management in 2024, and is currently pursuing a master's in business and science, specializing in biotechnology management, from Keck Graduate Institute in Claremont.Â
