CLAREMONT, Calif. - Samuel Brewer of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps football team earned the SCIAC Special Teams Player of the Week honor for games through Saturday, Nov. 8, the conference office announced today.

Brewer was 4-4 on extra points, and averaged 38 yards on six punts, placing four inside the 20-yard line, as CMS picked up a 28-14 road win over Redlands. He had two of his punts downed on the three-yard line, including a 63-yarder in the first quarter. He also had a fourth-quarter punt with 4:15 left downed on the three, to help CMS seal the win.
