CLAREMONT, Calif. - Senior James Frye, junior Will Householter and sophomore Brady Karich earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators, the organization announced today.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Basketball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom and requires meeting minimum standards of athletic participation and cumulative grade point average.

Frye, Householter and Karich were all significant contributors for the Stags, helping them to a 23-5 final record, as well as a program-best 16-0 start to the season.

CMS also reached the NCAA Tournament for the third year in a row for the first time in program history, winning an opening round game over Aurora before falling to regional host Wisconsin-La Crosse.
