CLAREMONT, Calif. - Seniors Charlie Bollwerk, Tyler Headley, Bennet Matazzoni and Steven Tran of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's swimming and diving team earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators, the organization announced today. 

The 2025-26 Academic All-District Swimming and Diving Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The award requires meeting minimum standards of both athletic participation and cumulative grade point average. 

Bollwerk, Headley, Matazzoni and Tran all participated in virtually every meet for the Stags during the 2025-26 season. Bollwerk competed in the sprint freestyle and the butterfly, Headley in the butterfly, Matazzoni in the diving events, and Tran primarily in the breaststroke. 

CMS earned a No. 21 national ranking in the final CSCAA Division III national poll and came in second at the SCIAC Championships.
