Finished with seven strikeouts in wins over Redlands, Whittier and La Verne ... Added six strikeouts in a 7-6 win over Occidental.  

Prior to CMS
Attended Bellarmine College Prep in San Jose, where he was a member of the baseball team ... Had six wins and a 1.72 ERA as a senior for a team that finished 22-10-1 and 10-3-1 in the league, earning Bellarmine's Pitcher of the Year award ... Also played club baseball with NorCal.
