High School: Lettered three years for Adolfo Camarillo High School where he earned honors in his senior year for first team all-county, first team all-CIF, third team all-state, and Pacific View League pitcher of the year after going 9-2 with 48 strikeouts on the mound and hitting .398. Graduated as a valedictorian and received his school’s Ventura County Star Scholar-Athlete Award.
2011: Villanova- Before transferring to CMC, Erb played second base for Villanova University, starting 34 games, appearing in 30 and hitting .215 in 130 at-bats
2012: Erb served primarily as the designated hitter, starting 39 games and hitting .321… second on the team in slugging (.466), doubles (11), and RBI (28)… also recorded 3 wins and 20 strikeouts in 5 starts on the mound… SCIAC Male Athlete of the Week in February
2013: Did not play.
Personal: Michael is the youngest child of George and Philomena Erb. His father played baseball for Oxnard College and Cal State Northridge, his sister played softball for the University of Arizona, and his brother played baseball for Oxnard College, Azusa Pacific University, and the Washington Wild Things.
