High School: A three-year varsity baseball player for Burroughs High School in …helped lead team to second in Desert Sky League and the CIF playoffs in 2012 as a captain while hitting .361 with a team-leading 16 RBI…was All League in 2011…also was a two-year varsity basketball player and helped lead team to second place in Desert Sky League as a senior captain in 2011-2012….graduated with a 4.5 GPA as a California Scholarship Federation Life Member in 2012.

2013: Played in 24 games as an outfielder and pitcher as a freshman…led the team with a 4.00 ERA in 18 innings pitched.

Personal: Sam was born and raised in Inyokern, CA…is the only child of Pete and Susan…enjoys being outdoors when not watching reading or watching SportsCenter…is a CrossFit trainer at CrossFit Ridgecrest...Sam is a Mathematics and Computational Biology major at Harvey Mudd College.
